It’s a centralized, grassroots calendar that lists events, meetings, protests, volunteer opportunities, and more—organized by liberation and justice-oriented groups across Buffalo.
Anyone interested in getting involved in activism, mutual aid, or community work in Buffalo—especially folks who are new and don’t already have connections to local organizing spaces.
We share political and community-based events like general body meetings, teach-ins, mutual aid efforts, protests, cultural gatherings, and educational workshops hosted by trusted local organizations.
You can fill out our Google Form with your event details. Submissions are reviewed before they’re added to the public calendar. This calendar is public & accessible to anyone. Please operate within your organization’s comfortability level about shared information.

Buffalo Community Calendar is an independent, volunteer-run project. We are not officially affiliated with, funded by, or endorsed by any of the organizations listed on this site. Our goal is to increase accessibility and visibility for local community-based organizations in Buffalo. Inclusion on this calendar does not constitute an endorsement, and we do not receive any financial compensation from any group featured. All event information is publicly submitted or sourced with care for community relevance and alignment with our values of justice, equity, and collective action.
Why does Buffalo Community Calendar choose to sponsor, support, and promote certain events or initiatives?
Buffalo Community Calendar is run by a small team of local organizers who are actively involved in various community efforts. We do our best to stay rooted in justice-based values, healing from harm, and building a more equitable Buffalo. Sometimes event organizers reach out directly to ask us to promote or collaborate, and sometimes we take the initiative to uplift events that align with our shared vision. Our choices reflect both our capacity and our commitments. While we can’t highlight everything, we always aim to prioritize community care, accountability, and collective liberation.
